No. Labelling can be carried out while the store is open and trading. RFID counting can also take place during opening hours — staff walk the floor with the handheld while customers continue shopping. For the first full count, we recommend trading hours to be off, but it is not a requirement.

Yes — each individual item needs its own unique RFID label for the system to work. However, this label can be integrated directly into the price tag you already use, so there is no additional label to manage.
